Loose Leaf Da Hong Pao
Medium Roasted, Fruity Aroma.
Da Hong Pao is called emperor of tea and the best of “The Famous Four” Wuyi Oolong Tea. All the Da Hong Pao we are drinking now is a cultivated version of the wild tea bushes from Wuyi Mountain that reserved for the emperor.
Like many tea, the name of Da Hong Pao is based on a story. It says that a high rank officer had got sick and no medicine could help him to recover, and one day a monk from Wuyi Mountain knocked his door and offered him some tea leafs from Wuyi Mountain as medicine. Incredibility, after he drank the tea he rapidly recovered from his sickness. And the high rank officer was so thankful to the monk that he rewarded this monk with a Big Red Robe (in Chinese Da Hong Pao).
Our online tea shop is offering you one of the best Da Hong Pao, it has a long lasting aftertaste with a flowery and fruity aroma.
We recommend using Kung Fu (gong Fu) brewing for this very best tea. Fill the Yixing teapot half full with tea leaves and steep in hot water at 1/2 minute for the first and second brewing then gradually increase steeping time for following brewing. You can infuse the same tea leaf several times and with this Da Hong Pao you can infused it up to 7 times!
In pursuit of a wider consumer base and enhanced recognition, we at Grand Tea are conducting affiliate program that brings our valuable customers on board. We all know that grabbing eyeballs of consumers has become all the more challenging in today’s competitive marketing landscape. Unless brands do something extraordinary, consumers are very unlikely to give their already-short attention to marketing campaigns.
In the tea world, the first thing to understand is that all the teas, Black, Green or Oolong, are made from the tender shoots of the Tea plant, Camellia sinensis. Here the differences in each tea, are created by the way it is manufactured. So when it comes to oolong tea, the tea is called “Semi-fermented” or in simple terms, its processing is in between of Black tea and Green tea.
This is my first time visiting Wuyi Shan. My friend picked me up from East train station which is new station for the speed train. From there we traveled half an hours to San Gu, a tourist town next to the nation park of Wuyi Shan. On the way to San Gu I could see the peak of "Da Wang Feng" in distance on the left side of the road, it looks more like as a gigantic rock rather then a mountain.
Every morning I’m not at the office (sometimes in the afternoon if I’m having trouble getting out of bed) I lay a towel down on my roommates table...
