Pu-erh

Pu-erh comes from the Yunnan province in China. It is praised for it rich, earthy taste and health benefits. It could reduce cholesterol and improve digestion and it is perfect after a heavy meal.

This unique tea involved a process of piling which refers to the process during which the sunned semi-made tea is piled up, watered, and stored in an environment with a temperature of over 25“C and a relative humidity of 85% to promote its fermentation. Piling is for speeding up the aging of the Pu’er Tea. it is a key step to form and consolidate the special quality of the Pu’er Tea.

Of all the Haicha (Dark Tea) the Pu-erh Tea of Yunnan is the most famous. It is praised for it rich, earthy taste and health benefits. Pu-erh is made of  Yunnan big-leaved tea and contains far greater aquatic extract, GTP, and catechin than other famous teas of China. It therefore shows greater efficiency in anti-aging. In addition, several kinds of helpful bacterial groups will grow during fermentation. These bacterial groups can reduce the absorption of triacid glyceride and sugar in small intestine and boost fat decomposition by ferment.
