Tai Ju is a variety of Chrysanthemum that is pure, with a taste of subtle sweetness reminds of grapefruit.
It is refreshing to drink this tea plain or with honey. Some people like to infuse Tai Ju with dried wolfberry(杞子), It is said to be good for the eyes.

Chrysanthemum flowers have been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries. They are found in many ancient formulas. Chrysanthemum is classified as a cool in Chinese medicin which is helpful for symtoms associate with heat of body such as red itchy eye, bad breath and outbreak of acnes

It is very easy to prepare Tai Ju. Use water with a temperature between 85 to 90 Celsius degree. Put 3 flower buds in every 100ml water, infuse the flower buds 1-2 minute then it is ready to drink.
