Shi Feng Dragon Well - Green Tea
Shi Feng Dragon Well - Green Tea
Clearence!!!

2009 First Harvest
(Pre-Qingming) Shi Feng Dragon Well

Dragon Well is a most celebrated green tea in China, the name comes from the town Lung Ching which means Dragon Well in direct translation. In recently research shows that fresh green tea, particularly in young buds contains high levels of antioxidants, and is very good for the skin and has anti-cancer properties. EGCG and theanine exist in the highest concentration in these young tea buds.

Typical for Shi Feng Dragon Well is the yellowish green leafs, sweet with a hint of chestnuts like fragrance and refreshing aftertaste. GrandTea's Xi Feng Dragon Well is still hand-picked and hand-roasted the traditional way. It takes a good picker 10 hours to pick 2 kilograms of fresh leaves, which is then made into 500 grams of dried tea. It is roasted for a shorter period of time using lighter hand pressure to preserve its natural aroma.

How To Brew
We recommend tall glass brewing method, it is most simple technique to make a delicious glass of Dragon Well.
Tall glass brewing method is intended for un-fermented tea such as green tea, white tea, yellow tea and mao cha. The method is simple. Basically, all you need to do is use a tall glass, put the tea leaves in to it then fill the glass with the appropriate temperature water. Through the transparent glass you can appreciate the beautiful leaves as they unfurl and release their delicate flavors. Once the leaves have sunk to the bottom, you can actually drink straight from the glass. As fine green and white teas should never become too bitter, you can keep the leaves in the glass without taking it out.
