Nice and lively. Brew Method Gungfu in 75ml Yixing pot Rinsed tea with boiling water for a 20 seconds. Used Boiling mountain spring water collected at the source. Date Reviewed 7/17/2005 Leaf 3.2g Water 75ml Steep 1 30s - Bright chestnut colored liquor. Astringent, wood, grain, and loam are al prent with thick mouthfeel and a tingling on the tip of the tongue. Steep 2 20s - Less bitterness, a bit of wood, loam, and now mushroom. Very dry in the mouth. Steep 3 30s - Allowed the cup to cool a bit and it greatly improved the taste of the tea. It is now smoother and has some earthy sweetness emerging. Steep 4 40s - allowed the cup to cool. Bitterness is fading, sweetness is slightly increased. Grassy flavor is getting pleasing. Steep 5 120s - allowed the cup to cool. Bitterness is gone, sweetness is slightly increased. Flavor is still strong. Comments I like this tea a lot. It is still a Teenager in terms of aging so it fights back a little, but it also has a lot of potential to be great in another 15 years.
